How to Request a Custom Window Quote in the Philippines

Prepare your opening sizes, quantity, location and window preferences for a clearer quotation. Use this checklist before requesting custom windows.

A useful window quotation starts with a clear description of your project. Before comparing prices, prepare the opening sizes, number of windows, project location and the type of work you need. This helps the supplier check the scope and explain which options are available.

Use the checklist below when requesting custom windows for a new build or renovation. Approximate dimensions can help start a quotation discussion. Final fabrication dimensions and installation details must be confirmed with the supplier before an order proceeds.

Start with your project location

Tell the supplier the city or municipality where the windows will be delivered or installed. Include whether you need supply only or help with installation. Access to the property, the floor where work is needed and any site restrictions should also be explained.

Do not assume that delivery and installation cover the same areas or are included in the same price. Ask the supplier to confirm the service scope for your location.

Prepare a list of openings

Give each opening a simple reference such as W01, W02 or W03. For each one, provide the approximate width, height and quantity. State the measurement unit clearly, such as millimetres or centimetres, and say whether you measured a bare opening, an existing frame or an architectural drawing.

If you already have a window schedule, send it with the quotation request. If you are replacing existing windows, clear photographs can help explain the opening, wall condition and access. Photographs support the discussion but do not replace any measurements or site checks required by the supplier.

Avoid climbing or reaching outside an opening to obtain a dimension. Ask the supplier how to arrange a suitable measurement check instead. Do not use rough quotation measurements as a cutting or fabrication instruction.

Explain the style and configuration

Tell the supplier whether you are considering a UPVC sliding window, a casement window or another opening style. Mention any fixed portions, screens or other features you want to discuss.

You do not need to know every technical specification before asking for a quotation. Explain how the room is used, what access is available and which details matter to you. Ask which frame, glass, screen and hardware options can be supplied for the proposed configuration.

Compare quotations using the same scope

Two quotations may describe different products or different amounts of work. Check the stated dimensions, window configuration, frame, glass, hardware and screens. Then check whether delivery, installation, removal of existing windows, finishing work and applicable charges are included or excluded.

Ask what still needs confirmation before ordering. Keep any agreed changes in writing so the final quotation matches the project requirements. Availability, production timing and installation arrangements should be confirmed for the order rather than assumed from a general advertisement.

Include your project timeline

Say whether the project is at the planning, construction or replacement stage. Give your preferred delivery or installation period and explain any work that must happen first. The supplier can then discuss what is feasible and which details are needed next.

Questions about LuckyHome’s UPVC options

Which frame and glass options can I request?

The current LuckyHome UPVC product forms list white and brown frames. Glass menus include clear, tinted, reflective and frosted choices, plus selected tempered-glass options. The exact list varies by product. Specify the glass type and thickness you want; ask the team to confirm suitability and availability for your opening. A colour name alone is not a full glass specification.

Does every UPVC window include an insect screen?

Screen arrangements differ. Our sliding window and sliding door listings are described as including nylon screens. Casement and awning forms offer separate with-screen and without-screen choices. Ask for the screen type, opening arrangement and access for cleaning to be written into the quotation. Do not assume one product’s screen arrangement applies to all styles.

How do I describe fixed and opening panels?

For casement and awning windows, provide the number of opening panels as well as the overall dimensions. Mark fixed sections on a sketch and label whether the view is from inside or outside. For a UPVC corner window, the current form asks for the width of each side and the height; it also asks how many optional casement or awning panels you want. One overall width is not enough to describe the two sides.

Is delivery and installation included in the calculator amount?

Confirm the selected service and the written quotation. Current UPVC forms separate supply only from delivery and installation, and display a PHP 30,000 minimum total order for delivery and installation service. Meeting that threshold does not by itself confirm service for every location or every item of work. Ask the team to confirm your project location, site access, charges and included work before ordering.
