Does a fixed partition close the shower entrance?

No. This product is a fixed panel and does not add a hinged door across the access gap. If you want a door that opens and closes, compare the swing shower enclosure. Describe your intended wet and dry areas so the team can review the panel position; a fixed panel alone is not a promise of a completely dry bathroom floor.
